I honestly feel really lucky because my menopause journey has been pretty easygoing. It's not just about luck or good genes, believe me—I've been through my fair share of tough times. I struggled with crippling chronic fatigue. 

I was on complete bed rest and broken for five years, confused and afraid. I didn't recognise myself. 
As a former personal trainer, I worried about gaining weight, losing my body shape which I loved and muscle loss.

And guess what I did. I lost muscle tone, yikes, and started gaining weight, particularly around the belly, which I hated. Not only that, I was bloated all the time.
